Penn 430ss Ultra Light Spinning Fishing Reel Nice Working Condition Clean

Estate sale fresh find is this nice condition and completely functioning vintage PENN 430 SS light action spinning fishing reel. Made in the USA in Pennsylvania by the PENN Fishing Tackle Company.

Smoooooth reeling action, a very strong snappy bail return, and solid drag setting. Ready for many more fishing excursions. NOTE: this reel has been completely dismantled; all internal components cleaned, inspected, and removed old lube, and re lubed with PENN Precision Grease and PENN Synthetic Reel Oil. NOTE: this particular reel (and all vintage skirted spool fishing reels 400 & 4000 series especially) was designed to have a SILENT reeling action (without the continuous clicking sound unlike the PENN 714 Z, 716 Z etc counter part did have).

This vintage reel incorporated a "floating" type (no spring tension) anti reverse dog that gives that SILENT reeling action plus a 1/4 or less reverse turn of the handle until it locks into anti reverse which is completely normal operation.
