PENN Bridge City Reel Excellent Condition Circa 1939-1940 Made In The USA

This reel was manufactured by the Penn FishingTackle Co. It is shown in Penn Catalog No. 7 - as a Number 100, 250 yard Cutty Hunk #9, Gear Ratio 2-1/2 to one. The center pin on the axle would indicate it was made in late 1939 or early1940.

The reel has been completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned and lubricated. The drag washers have been replaced with new ones. This reel will grade a 10 mechanically.

The plastic appears to be flawless. The only corrosion noted is very light on the surface inside the stand and on the axle of the spool. This reel will easily grade a 9+ on appearance.

A copy of the description as noted above will be included with the reel. This reel is a true collectible and can be passed down from one generation to another. All offers will be considered.
