Vintage Chesapeake bay trolling rod and Penn 349 Reel with wire line and rigged

ESTATE SALE - This belonged to my father-in-law who fished the Chesapeake bay since the 1950's all the way until he relocated by us in Tn. Tens and tens of thousands of fish have been caught on this set-up. He worked as a young man on charter fishing boats out of Annapolis, Md and continued to be on the water as much as he could up into his 70's. The rod is rigged and ready to go with the popular Double Bucktail set-up with a drop sinker. You will see exactly how the old timers connected the 3 various lines used when wire line trolling.

The paint has been wearing away for many years on the rod and it has an amazing old patina look. It would look awsome as a display piece in your man cave or a seafood restaurant!
