Vintage Penn Spinfisher 704 Spinning Reel (boxed)

This large size spin reel was made in USA. From 1972-75 and weighs 25.3oz, it is in excellent condition almost near mint, and everything works perfectly. It comes with a greenish blue colored metal body, smooth drag, good anti-reverse, free rolling roller and smooth quiet gears. It shows only a few light rubs in the paint in a few spots.

It has a 3.8/1 gear ratio and will hold 250 yards of 20lb. Test it is a good quality reel, and is a grade 9+/10. I have been fishing with these reels for almost 50 years and caught thousands of fish with them, this a good reel to fish with. Comes with a box and papers, beat but still good. The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old.

Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. Is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
