This is a very nice vintage Penn spinfisher 714 ultralight spinning reel that to me looks unused. The reel is stamped Penn Reel, 714, Spinfisher, Ultrasport and heel is stamped Made in USA.

4" long and 4 1/16" tall and spool cover is 2 1/8 diameter. This reel looks like it was never used and I would consider to be in excellent condition and shows a few microscopic flea bit nicks on spool cover and one 1/16" x 1/32" paint chip on leg and reel is in excellent working order and has a strong bail and anti-reverse works. I have included one photo of inside gears with original grease from factory still on gears but dry so I added a few drops of ABU Garcia silicote oil on all the moving parts just to freshen gears. When I found this reel it had been in storage for years and unfortunately I wish it had the original box.
