Penn 505HS Super Jigmaster High Speed Fishing Reel, Vintage (Circa 1990), New in Box, Made in USA. This reel is marked as used but it may be new-in-box (NIB) / new-old-stock (NOS). It shows no signs of being used. There is a little bit of corrosion on the metal rings, likely from storage. The reel is in excellent condition and the box is in very good condition.

This reel was made in the USA in Philadelphia, PA. The tan box has metal edges, and has the original price sticker. The box and all the original items in the box are included. Original box with metal edges. Original tube of Penn reel lube.

High speed gear ratio: 5 to 1. Line capacity: 275 yds of 30 lb mono. The manual or box does not have date on it. The tan box with metal edges is an important detail in trying to date this reel.
