PENN 722 SPINFISHER FISHING REEL GREENIE NEAR MINT IN BOX with ORIGINAL EXTRAS
Estate sale fresh find and from a prestigious collection, is this NEAR MINT IN THE BOX vintage 1960'S PENN 722 Spinfisher light action spinning fishing reel. Made in the USA in Pennsylvania by the PENN Fishing Tackle Company. Its ORIGINAL box shows moderate shelf wear but has no rust on the metal corner straps. Its manual is dated 1969 and offers nice graphics of the era.
Certainly hard to find this 1960's vintage reel in this condition. NOTE: only issue found on this classic beauty is that the white plastic drag nut does have stress cracks due to over tightening the drag nut which was very common among these type of fishing reels. Part has been tested with no issues noted. NOTE: this nice little greenie has been completely dismantled, cleaned of all original lube and foreign debris, and replaced with PENN Precision reel grease and PENN synthetic reel oil.
