Patent Oct 15 1951 # 2,571,717. Patent filed Dec 31 1952 # 2,749,643. First fiberglass fishing rods made. This is in the original condition aquired.

I've collected vintage fishing stuff and fished for years. Only fished on the ocean once and not with this setup.

Pole length is approximately 66 1/2 inches from the lower wood handle to the roller tip. Penn Peer no 309 reel with fishing wire, a treble hook and spoon. Great condition for its age and displays well.
