Vintage Penn 420SS Ultra Light Spinning Reel - One of My Top 2 - Extra Fine

Beautifully preserved Penn 420SS ultra light spinning reel. Works flawlessly, body is immaculate, bail snaps nicely and drag clicks loud and twangy like it's supposed to do.

Spool and handle are extra clean. There is one tiny nick on the spool as shown in the pictures. This is one of my top 2 Penn 420SS reels. The only difference between this and my number 1 is that I don't have a a box and papers for this one (Number 1 is going to my son, so don't wait for it). As always, I used 2x zoom to show every detail.

A few things stand out on this reel. First, the body is in the best condition I've seen short of NIB old stock, as shown by the pictures. There is little to no superficial scratching or other indicators of use, except on the bottom corner by the reverse switch, and those minor scratches are magnified by bright light and 2x zoom.

Second, there is no significant chowdering on any of the screw heads. That tells me it hasn't been torn into carelessly, if at all.
