Vintage PENN 49M SUPER-MARINER Fishing Reel Original Box, Catalog 18 & Guarantee

I came across this awesome Penn 49M Super-Mariner fishing reel in my travels here in Northern Michigan. It comes in the original box with an amazing label! Along with the reel and box is the original Guarantee card and Penn Reel Catalog No. The catalog shows a variety of reels, prices parts list, servicing, salt water record fish and some pictures! The catalog is a treasure in itself! The catalog and box have a 2-digit address code which dates it to the 1950s or early 1960s when these were used. You will know what quality is when you use this one. The reel is clean and shiny and looks like it has good care.

It has steel wire on the spool. The only concern is one small screw is missing on the side. A simple fix with the right screw. This one could be the show-piece of your vintage fishing collection!
