VINTAGE PENN BEACHMASTER 160L COMPLETELY REFURBISHED FISHING REEL WITH THE BOX WITH NEWELL SPOOL & HT100 DRAG WASHERS. Vintage Penn Beachmaster 160L with the box (Please note that the L in 160L stands for lightweight spool not left handed).

Professionally completely disassembled, cleaned and serviced on September 3, 2022. Works great with terrific free spool and very smooth cranking. Brand new HT100 carbon fiber drag washers, steel metal drag washers, a new tension spring washer and a new hard fiber washer under the main gear. All this will give you improved stronger drag pressure and a better smoother drag system for sure.

Upgraded with a Newell black anodized aluminum spool for more line capacity and much better free spool. Chrome plated brass exposed metal components.

High strength steel main gear and pinion gear. Easy to operate star drag. Counterbalanced handle with green torpedo knob. Line Capacity: 185 yards of 30 pound test line. Condition: Pre-Owned, rated a 7 to an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10.

This is a great casting reel using 12 to 30 pound test line for Albacore, Bass, Dorado, Grouper, Halibut, Lingcod, Tuna and Yellowtail.
