This is the last saltwater fishing reel that my husband has. He has not done it in 5 years, so finally decided to sell his gear. This is a nice vintage Penn International 30 reel.

Originally made in the late 60's, it was replaced by the 30T in the late 80s, so they don't make these anymore, maybe adding to collectible value? (Thank you very much Scott's Bait and Tackle) REEL INFO.

International Tournament Single Speed- No other reel has done more to shape the world of big game angling than the Penn single-speed International. Ranging from the formidable 80TW to the light tackle 12LT, these reels have the power to tackle billfish, tuna, shark, wahoo, dolphinfish and more. In the late 80's, the 30T model from the International Tournament series replaced the 30 reel, adding another 100 yards to the capacity of the reel. Construction: Machine-cut, heat-treated stainless steel main and pinion gears and drag cams.

Machined, gold anodized one-piece frame. Four aircraft-grade, sealed stainless steel ball bearings. A double dog design prevents internal damage from sudden strikes. Forged and machined spool and side plates. Cosmetically, it has some scratches and scuffs from use.

One of the tightening screws is bent as well. Still has useable line on it. Please Note: If there is a problem with the item, please contact me.
