All merchandise is clean and comes from a smoke-free environment. Here is quite a vintage very heavy-duty conventional Big Game trolling reel.

He reel was manufactured by the Penn Fishing Tackle Mfg. This extremely heavy-duty reel features chrome plated brass parts, a powerful star drag, maximum drag at 29 lbs. Gear ratio of 2:1, line out alarm (clicker), metal spool, black bakelite/composite side plates, metal side plate reinforcing rings, line retrieve 30 inches per turn, harness rings, weight 89 oz.

W/o line, and an oversized torpedo handle that turns freely. The reel is spooled with quality 100 lb.

The reel also comes with a rod harness and a cardboard reel storage box, along with a copy of an early PENN reel box label. As an added bonus is a PENN 12/0 reel schematic and parts list sheet.

The reel measures 5 1/8 in diameter and 5 5/8 across the side plates. It weighs a whopping 8 lbs.

Line capacity is rated at 1500/60 1100/80 877/100 monofilament. The reel is in Very Good + condition, very well made in the U. There are some minor scratches, dings, and finish loss commersurate with use and age. It youre looking to catch the big ones, heres a reel to do the job! The reels gear ratio is 2:1.
