Vtg Penn International 965 fishing reel (for repair)

The good is the reel has only minor scratches on the top of the ends and looks pretty good. Its filled with what looks to be some kind of spiderwire.

The bad is the bait clicker doesn't work and I can hear something rattle on that side when I shake it so may just be something came loose. The knobs on the handle are sticky form what is either from someone putting a rubber like coating on them or if it had something on them from the factory its gone.
